We have a number of buildings and structures that may not meet the criteria for nationally listed buildings at present but do add to the cultural heritage of our borough. The result is that many fine buildings and structures are unprotected by the statutory listing process. In recognition of this we identified and designated them as local listed buildings, now know as local heritage assets. We have 72 buildings on this list. There is more information about local listed heritage assets on the Historic England website.
